Pick the look
Open the Light door and choose a film look — golden for the evening shot, overcast for the honest one.
Builder feature · free · in your browser
Every frame of Builder runs through an eleven-pass post stack: GTAO, god rays, anamorphic streaks, HDR bloom, motion blur, hexagonal depth-of-field with autofocus, ACES tone mapping, a 3D LUT film grade, a halation-vignette-grain-chromatic-aberration-sharpening pass, and SMAA — with screen-space reflections on the glazing. Seven film looks — natural, cinematic, golden, overcast, dusk, bleach and neutral — are saved with the design. Four quality tiers scale it from a laptop to 2× supersampled ultra, and the whole thing holds 60 FPS.

Low, medium, high, or ultra at 2× supersampling.
Press Space and play the day until the light is the one you want.
Walk the camera through, then send the link — the grade travels with the design.
Cinematic renders is one of fifteen feature pages covering what ships in Builder today — every claim here maps to a shipped, verified feature. The list below is the concrete surface:
Real time, all of it. The eleven-pass stack runs in the browser at the frame rate the performance gate guarantees: 60 FPS under a stress design with the full stack on medium. There is no offline farm and no export wait.
Pick the tier that matches it. Low and medium suit most laptops; high and ultra (2× supersampled) reward good GPUs. The gate is measured on Apple M4 at 286 draw calls, 60 fps and a 28 MB heap — with all eleven passes and a full stress design.
Seven grades over the same honest light: natural for accuracy, cinematic for contrast, golden for the late-afternoon sell, overcast for a neutral survey, dusk for the blue hour, bleach for a washed editorial look, and neutral when you want nothing added. Whichever you pick is saved with the design.
